Sharing blocks.

We played a game with the rhyming puzzle cards today -- Suki would choose the first card.

And as quickly as she could Grace would find its rhyming match! It was great to find a game that they could play together.

I thought Kate was just having fun in this blocks box but a minute or so later I realized she was stuck, too stuck to get herself out. Of course, it only took a few minutes before she sat herself right back down in it.

We've known Kate had the skills to get down the stairs by herself but were still working up the courage for ourselves to let her do it. If we put her on her belly, feet down the steps at the top she'll slide herself down but she won't flop down and do it that way herself. If I stand a few steps down she assumes I'm going to catch her and just walks off the top step all devil may care like. Today I caught her just sitting on the top step. She carefully scooted herself down and that's when I grabbed the camera:
