Adorable Kate reads a book.

Suki pretends to be asleep.

Grace found the Boston Duck to day and was thrilled. You'd think that with all of the rubber ducks in her collection they'd start to blur together but she can tell all of them apart.

Kate sports some sunglasses -- she'll bring them to me and hold them out for me to put on her face.

The weather here is unbelievably good all of a sudden -- mid 70s, sunny, gorgeous. We took advantage of it this morning.

Playing under the trees.

Kate hauled out the watering can from the garage. Being able to stand up on her own, without holding onto anything, makes it much easier for her to get around comfortably outside.

Suki did not understand why we all had to stick together in one yard or the other.

I asked Suki to make sure Kate didn't go into the street.

It didn't go very well -- luckily, our cul de sac is incredibly quiet (and I was very close by). But the next time Kate headed down that way, she turned around at the sidewalk and came back up the driveway.

Resting under the tree.

A big hug.

A tiny smile.

Sisters together.

The lovely slapping game. I hate it, the girls both crack up for it.

Kate comes along to join the huddle.

Baby blue eyes.

Grace tells Suki how to frost a duck cake.

Tickled.

Suki tries and tries to climb a tree.

Trying to swing.

I just love it now that all three girls can play together.

Grace tries to knock Fuzzy Duck out of the tree while Suki looks on and Kate eats some mulch.
