Family reading time.

Happy to be with her sister.

Reaching for a new selection.

Admiring her new duck book.

A new book!

Not much happens here but Suki was having such a good time this afternoon I didn't want to forget it.

Sitting with Dad.

Enjoying a duck sandwich while Dad shares a story.

Four with Suki and Joshua.

Sampling a cinnamon roll.

Looking at the pig card.

More independent every day.

A sisterly swap wherein Grace gets the plastic book and Suki gets the duck.

One more of this sweet pair.

Tambourine girl.

Showing Joshua and Lesley around the farm.

Looking for goats.

Down the path.

Explaining the finer points of raising a flock of chickens.

Grace took Lesley up on her offer of a ride.

Petting the baby goat.

Joshua watches over a sleeping Suki.

Close up.

Admiring the rattle.

Really really close up.

I kept showing Grace how her image would show up on the back of the camera when I took her picture -- it cracked her up.

Our dear friend Joshua is in town and met Suki for the first time today.

He and Lesley brought Grace a new book, knowing her love for all things duck.

Fun with Suki.

Grace looks at one of Suki's gifts.

Best picture ever -- Suki was worn out at the end of the day and not in the mood for new company.

I've never seen her go for a bottle so voraciously before.

Jazz hands!

Dancing her heart out.

Suki? Smiling? I know you've seen it before but I never get tired of this grin.

Looking out at a hurricane (I know it was just a thunderstorm but it was an EXTREME THUNDERSTORM).

Do babies ever cruise before they crawl? Sometimes I wonder about this with Suki.

Playing with blocks.

If you can ignore my frightening voice, this video is pretty cute.

"Hiding in a dark place." Grace loves it when she covers her eyes or hides like this and we call out "Grace! Where are you! Come out for me!" She pops out and says "Here I am!" So much fun.

Suki tries to hold on to the bead toy when Grace claims it's her own turn.

Trying hard to share.

Grace and Suki are mostly out of the woods (the cold woods, that is) but now David and I are in the thick of things. Ugh.

Peering through the beads.

More bead fun.

Grace is a pro at singing Do Re Mi -- here, she was reluctant to show it off but was so cute I wanted to post this video anyway.

Suki poses.

Our happy little Sook in a chair.

Flipped around.

Paying attention to Suki...

..and then some attention to Grace.
