A happy, hearty breakfast time.

Then it was time for some art projects. These girls sure do love to paint and stamp and draw and... you know, generally make wonderful messes.

Kate prefers to focus on removing the Jet Dry cap from the dishwasher. It is one of her three main missions in life, the other two being 1. Learn how to walk and 2. Wreak havoc with her sisters.

Here is a little cooking lesson from the Three Chimp Cucina -- pie crust cookies!
Defrost those scraps of pie dough that you swear you're going to use soon but never, ever will. Preheat your oven to 375. And as illustrated in this step, measure 1/4 cup sugar into a bowl.

Then shake in about 1/4 tsp cinnamon.

Maybe a little more, by the time your sister gets her hands on the cinnamon.

Mix it up.

Roll out your dough.

Cut out your shapes.

Practice pressing all the way through the dough.

Use your little knife to pop out your dough shapes.

Brush the tops of your cut outs with egg white.

Let your sister have a turn at painting.

Wedge in a shot of the third sister, who's happy just shaking the cinnamon jar.

Take a spoon and get a scoop of the cinnamon sugar.

Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar over the cookies.

Then they are ready to go in the oven! Ours baked for about 15 minutes and then...

...yum!

So excited to taste a bite.

And they even shared with sweet Kate. What a fun morning.

Grace smiles and Kate gives a wary eye to Cassandra.

Fun with the ball machine.

Suki looks about the same as I did this morning when I discovered a waspy dilemma. Luckily, Rosemary came to save me.

Then we got to play and snack a bit.

Suki gave Cassandra a makeover before she had to go.

Voila!

Suki draws circles simultaneously with both hands.

Splashing with some ducks.

Kate wanted to join in.

Who could blame her, look at this soapy fun!

I love the way Kate will balance her belly against the table so both hands are free for a drink.

Cuddling sisters.

Today Grace had a great day at preschool and Suki and Kate enjoyed some friends (and their cats!) at a play date. Here are some pictures from after we got back to the house.

Dreamy eyed in the play house.

"Sharing" the Counting House book.

Three girls at the slide.

More practice standing.

I love how they spontaneously share this great toy.

I love love love this picture of my Sook, I think it shows how lovely and strong and determined she is.

Running!

Repeating her teacher's comforting words "oh, it's alright honey!"

Suki takes a step.
