Here's a fun thing to do instead of eating breakfast as we're trying to get out the door...

Just toss the Cheerios across the table so see how far they scatter!

Luckily, she was happy enough to pick them up and keep on eating.

Sweet little face.

Looking so grown up!

Suki just loves this Who's Hiding book.

Having fun at our playgroup's winter party.

Playing with the farm with Briar and Zoe.

A smile for the camera.

Watching a friend play with the motorcycle.

Briar gives Suki a hug.

Watching each other.

My little Sook.

One from Cynthia.

A little blurry but too cute.

Heading out to our friend Natalia's house to play.

Grace brought her Fur Berry to share.

My sweet pea.

Ready to get in the car.

A little smile from Sook.

Reflection.

We had so much fun today playing with our new friends, we even stayed for lunch and Grace was thrilled when she was offered yogurt and goldfish. Natalia is Grace's personality twin and her mom and I both laughed a lot at the way they reacted exactly the same way to things.

Enchanted with the Fur Berries box.

That face...

A mouthful of Cheerios.

Thinking about a grape next.

Looking out the window at the rain and the birds.

See the bird on the swing?

Also, here's the information from yesterday's ultrasound. Keep in mind that the radiologists and my OB considered me at 34 weeks 3 days yesterday, I think I was at 35 weeks, no one's completely sure just how old the baby is but she's looking great for still having four more weeks to go before her birthday. Her lungs were working so well and it was amazing to see how rapidly she was breathing!

Biparietal Diameter (width of the baby's head from side to side): 92 mm (37 weeks 5 days)
Femur Length: 68 mm (34w5d)
Head Circumference: 341 mm (38w5d)
Abdominal Circumference: 341 mm (38w2d)

Estimated weight, based on those numbers: 6 lbs 14 oz (Hadlock) or 7 lbs 3 oz (Shepard)

Or you could just say a big baby with a gigantic head and very large chest, making her look like her Dad as a baby already.

Jumbo third birthday post!

Playing with her new lacing beads.

Shrugging her way into a no-neck dance.

Our friend Rosemary came over with her baby Cassandra to play with Grace and Suki while I went to a last minute ultrasound appointment. Rosemary took this photo and the next few.

Suki's not used to playing with younger children -- here she looks a little surprised as Cassandra tries to share some bunny crackers.

Looking to see if she's really going to eat them!

Surprisingly patient as Cassandra grabs for some more bunnies.

Rosemary assured me that despite appearances, Suki was very gentle with Cassandra, and she is not in fact trying to blind the poor girl but is rather trying to pat her like a doll.

Rosemary further assured me that Suki was just trying to position Cassandra like a doll. Either way, I say: watch out Kate.

Some sweet moments with my sweet pea.

Smiling Sook.

This girl's smile will light up any day.

A fun time reading with Dad after he got home from work.

No singing at our little family party either!

Making a wish.

Watching as I remove the candle.

Suki and her cupcake.

She really loved these little duck cupcakes. The silver birthday candle holders are ones we use a every family party but today Grace wanted the duck and the frog on her cupcake.

So many cupcake pictures, I couldn't resist!

A kiss from Mom.

Opening a present from Aunt Melissa and Uncle Jeff.

Reading one of the gifts, Snip Snap! What's That? She absolutely loved it.

Time to open one of two gifts from Mom and Dad.

So excited to see the Strawberry Spaniel Fur Berry.

This pink ball of fluff opens up into a pink dog scented like strawberries. Grace became obsessed after seeing just one commercial, such are the miraculous workings of the fine people in advertising.

Just so happy.

Looking a little weary after her half cupcake.

Happy birthday Grace!
