October 28, 2012

My family has a tradition of Pumpkin Games, which involves hide and go seek in the dark where the grown up seeker tries to find everyone with a lit jack o'lantern.  It's so much scary fun, and I was glad this year that everyone was old enough for us to give it a try.  They loved it, though I wonder if when we try it tomorrow night Kate might like to have me hide with her to relieve some of the solitary tension that can arise :)  Not one girl could manage (in any of the four rounds) to be discovered by David, they all popped up when he got close.

October 26, 2012 -- part 2

After school!  The neighborhood leaf pile really is such a draw for everyone at the bus stop.

Grace tells David about her day.

Kate and Suki were off to a beading workshop at our local toy store.  Grace preferred to stay home and relax, so it was great that David was there and she had the option to do so.

Friday night dinner -- the girls were comparing our candidates for congress to Disney heroes and villains, and I was impressed to hear how much they've retained about the different positions the politicians hold.

My ten turkey alarm clock this morning.

At the bus stop -- Grace got a class coupon allowing her to wear her favorite hat to school, and this was what she chose.

Kate and I went on her class field trip today!

Suki got to spend the morning with her friend Aubrie, and then we brought her over to afternoon kindergarten.
