Grace is an acrobat in the circus!
Yesterday morning was a rough one and I was afraid today might bring more of the same. It is pouring out, our friends canceled our play date because they are too sick, I had nothing else planned. And so we relaxed, some in pajamas, we watched movies, we baked cookies, we laughed and played together. And it was such a great morning that we didn't even go up for naps until 2:30!
These two chimps wanted to help make cookies with our cheater cookie dough and things started off promisingly enough, with them scooping out dough.
And then: a forbidden taste.
And then: more tastes!
These two were cracking me up and they were making each other laugh hysterically.
Back to the serious business of baking cookies.

There was some very impatient waiting for the cookies to cool. It's almost too much to ask, to be able to smell the cookies and see the cookies and to talk about the cookies but not to EAT the cookies.
