The girls had lots of fun playing outside while I weeded a flower bed.
This slide is lots of fun outside but Suki definitely misses having it indoors. There's a great story from the day of Kate's party last week. The morning of the festivities, David and PaPa carried the slide out from the dining room and into the yard. That afternoon, Suki looked out the dining room window and saw her toy. And in the most pitiful, adamant voice you've heard she declared "No Dad, no PaPa, that's-a my toy!" So cute, but it's staying in the yard.
Kate figured out she can climb the stairs to our ramshackle little deck...
...and from there decided to try to climb on the swing. The chairs were blown all over the place from the wind and she nearly made it.
Grace made a nest of pine needles for some birds.
Oh, how sweet is this!
Suki kept opening up her jacket and yelling McCain as she stuck her belly out. Perhaps she thinks her defeated contender is some sort of superhero after all?
