September 2, 2009

Almost too blurry to post but these girls were so thrilled to have all three sisters in the same chase I can't resist.

On our way to the last dance class of the season.

A sweet Suki spin.

Jump!

Selecting their crowns.

Kate even wound up with some tiaras.

Two of my favorite exercises:

Arabesque!

Kate can't help but join them.

Everyone is so delighted with the jumping.

Suki wanted to be so active in class today, she really had a hard time sitting still and waiting for Miss Lori to get the music ready.

She even wound up in detention for a few minutes so she wouldn't collide with the other kids.

Jumping over the pillows.

Very interested in hoops.

Grace was so happy to be a flower (the tutu became the petals).

Kate was not as happy being a flower.

She was very interested in what Miss Lori was saying about flowers, though.

Suki did not want anything to do with the flower idea -- it was surprising, given her love of accessories.

Hiding like a flower. Miss Lori also told them unicorns were horses with wings, so I'm not sure just what she was thinking today.

Back with the hoops!

Kate was so earnest about getting this tutu!

Oh, these flowers are such a big hit.

On the way to the grocery store.

Kate ran in the wrong door and so we all ran in after her. There were no three person carts at that end of the store so we all just walked down to the monkey section.

We looked at flowers along the way.

And after we got the monkeys, we had so much fun playing Follow The Leader. You haven't seen fun until you've turned a baby loose at the grocery store. We had to be careful at the end of each aisle so that we didn't get in the path of anyone's cart but there weren't any problems with that or with pulling things off the shelves, which is where I thought the danger would lie.

So cute!

Caught in the act...

Grace: "Well Mama, if you love sweet things you'll really love them when they're made with Splenda no calorarilly sweetener. Splenda starts with sugar, it tastes like sugar but it's not sugar and that's sweet."
