Down the stairs to find their Easter baskets!
Kate kept saying "ooh!" about all of these treats.
The first signs of a sugar rush...
...soon followed by others...
...and still others.
After baskets, we went out and had our own egg hunt -- yesterday's was so much fun we could not resist!

Happy (?) Easter? Clearly this crowd was in no mood for a group photo.

We were lucky enough to play with our pal Viviana for a little while this morning, too.
Then it was off to lunch at one of our favorite restaurants.
There was some... grumpiness, let's say that. Lots of sugar, not a lot of real food, lots of excitement, not a lot of our usual structure -- we could have known perhaps that this was a recipe for a challenging meal out.
We were caught by surprise when we realized just how far this restaurant went to celebrate Easter. There were beautiful balloons and even an Easter rabbit roving around greeting the children.
Everyone could choose a beautiful balloon on their way out.
Grace wanted go greet the bunny one last time before we left.
Playing outside for a few minutes before we left.
The weather today was so beautiful, we could not have asked for better. Happy Easter, everyone!
