Playing the cheaters version of this game, where only half of the tiles are out and Grace doles them out one by one.

Paging her way through this book.

Much to my surprise, the seed that was planted in this cup of dirt at preschool actually sprouted!

We read two books this morning that left Suki in tears -- Hazel's Amazing Mother and When Sophie Gets Angry. She's never become so upset over a book, but today when characters in the book experienced intense emotions she did too. Grace brought her Red Dog for comfort and we talked about how everyone feel intense emotions from time to time and they always pass, we talked about different options to cope with those feelings -- and then we built towers with blocks, one of her favorite things.

We used blocks with numbers on them for currency and Grace sold us animals. We practiced making change and combining prices and she loved it.

So mad at Grace! Two seconds later, it passed. You'd think if anyone would understand the concept of passing emotions, it would be Suki.

A little Backyardigans craft.

She sure loves Tyrone.

Suki is a pro at tracing dotted letters.
