A bonus shot of a wet wagon ride after nap time!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Kate loves feeding Suki grapes!

They have so much fun together.

Looking at the animals in one of their favorite books.

We tried a wee experiment today, watching parts of Finding Nemo -- even trying to skip the frightening parts, it just was no good for my guys. Grace kept saying that it made her anxious, Suki kept asking for a new show, Kate kept wandering off... it was just too much.

Not too sure about all of this fish action.

We moved on to pie crust cookies. Grace measures the sugar.

Suki sprinkles in the cinnamon.

Then we mixed the cinnamon sugar together.

Kate insisted on a turn... but you can imagine what happened next. She was just too tempted by that delicious stuff!

I just love the look Suki's giving Kate here.

It wasn't long before Grace and Suki started asking Kate for spoonfuls.

Grace and Suki rolled out our pie crusts. Do you remember when we made these last year?

Cutting out shapes.

And then popping them out with their knives.

Brushing on the egg whites. They were so interested in the way beating the eggs changed their consistency -- we practiced pouring the unbeaten eggs from cup to cup, then the beaten, frothy eggs.

A little hug midway through.

Sprinkling on the cinnamon sugar.

Our finished cookies!

Choosing one for themselves and one for their dad, studying upstairs.

A little kicking game.

Here's a video of Grace and Suki beating the egg whites -- I wish I'd caught the first time they did their song -- unprompted and so enthusiastic. This time was still pretty cute, I think you'll like it.
