Today we went to our friend Mia's birthday party!
Kate was great at practicing her walking.
Suki was immediately drawn to the pool.
Grace hung back a little bit at first but was very interested to change into her bathing suit.
She always loves a pool but did not love Kate trying to swipe the bucket.
Suki had a blast in Mia's play house.
These wild girls had a lot of fun trying to splash me.
Then it was time to dry off for lunch.
Waiting patiently.
David and Kate found a shady spot where they could sit and eat.
Suki and Grace sat at a little table and enjoyed their meal.
Then it was time for cupcakes! Suki was so excited!
Suki enjoys her cake and ice cream.
Grace loved her pink frosted cupcake.

Then she had some vanilla ice cream!
Grace was very deliberate about working her way through her dessert.
Then Mia handed out the favors.
Mia gave Grace a sweet hug goodbye.
So happy.
Then Mia tried to give Kate a hug.
And last it was Suki's turn.
Kate played the piano with some of the other party girls.
