Last day of preK!

Here's this year's sunrise sunset moment (click to embiggen). And here's last year's, in case you're interested!

This year's batch of baby robins hatched!

Chasing before we get into the car.

Kate's not sure just what all of this bush embracing is about...

...but she manages to join in anyway.

These little guys are just so joyful.

We really had the best time driving to school, humming along to the Strauss' Blue Danube Waltz and neighing along to Lady Gaga's Bad Romance, even the music seemed perfect.

One last goodbye kiss.

Also perfect: Miss Colleen helped Grace out of the car and Miss Cheryl helped her back in at the end of the day, just like on her very first day of preschool. I swear, it couldn't have been better if they'd planned it this way.

Miss Betsy smiles at Grace on her last trip out.

Waving goodbye!

We went out for a special lunch with David at the Mexican restaurant Grace loves.

Kate certainly loves to share.

One of the big draws of this restaurant is their amazing decor -- we were lucky to get a table with a view of the masks.

Suki loves to eat limes just the same way I loved eating lemons as a child.

We were feeling so lucky that we even risked a tortilla chip for Kate, who was desperate to have one. I think this was the first time she's ever had one without choking. Oh, things are moving on up for us!

After naps, we had our small graduation party.

Munchkins turned out to be the perfect treat!

What a sugar rushy good time!

Happy graduation, Grace!
