The Great Blizzard of 2010! Here's what we woke to this morning, with the snow still coming down hard.
Our poor Leyland Cypress.
Our nearly flattened giant butterfly bush.
Our cherry tree's lowest branches were buried in the snow.
Eating breakfast before heading out to our shoveling party.
We opened the garage door and there was no way for these guys to even get into the snow easily.

There was no way to open the front door, it was completely swamped with snow.
It was kind of hard to shovel with so many helpers.

When these girls got a little chilly they sought refuge and coloring supplies.
This driveway felt so, so long today! And I only cleared a path for one car to get out... not that our street is going to be plowed for a mighty long time, so it's not like we're going anywhere.
David ventured out to get the snow off of the cypress trees.
