The Fiddler Dog on the Roof!

Could not be persuaded to look up.

Ready to go for the five year well visit.

Watching a little movie.

Sweet Suki.

A little kiss while waiting.

This book is the biggest hit!

Hoping this will work like the button for the elevator doors and release them from waiting.

Playing tic-tac-toe for the first time!

Today's visit was more involved than I expected -- the doctor did her physical exam, then there was a hearing test, vision test, urine test and blood test. Here, Grace is wary about just how noisy the hearing test is going to be.

She was pleasantly surprised.

Suki watches and eats her raisin treat.

Then it was time for the vision test -- again, Grace had the idea that somehow things were going to go in her eye and was pleased to realize that was not the case.

Kate comes along to see just what this game is about.

Grace needed several bandages before the bleeding from her hemoglobin test stopped.

Suki had quite a tantrum because the ducks weren't out in the cold wind. Kate just looked on.

A few minutes later and they were playing their high five game, though.

At 40.25" Grace is in the 10th percentile for height and at 41 lbs she's in the 50th percentile for weight. She's such a peanut that I can't imagine how it's going to seem when she goes off to school with sixth graders next year. Her hearing's perfect, her urine test and hemoglobin came back fine and her vision's 20/20 for both eyes, 20/30 when either eye is covered which is totally normal. Yay!
