Last night I made pizza dough (and, you know, pizza). This morning I used the leftover dough to make cinnamon rolls. Kate was thrilled to see hers.
Grace was so certain she wasn't going to like hers that she needed some convincing. This is how Grace reacts every time she sees a cinnamon roll, which has to happen at least half a dozen times a year. She agreed to smell mine, then she wanted a tiny nibble, then she wanted the whole roll. And another. And if memory serves, a third. They were really good rolls.
These worksheets related to following patterns, matching written words to objects, finding hidden objects and Grace loved loved them. She always does enjoy a good worksheet.
Grace moved on to this math workbook and Suki pretended trees were carrots and colored them accordingly.
I wondered why Kate was so intensely brushing this paintbrush across the whiteboard -- when I came around to this side I realized she was brushing the rainbow alphabet away.
Gleefully retrieving the ball. By the end of the day, we'd trained Kate to chase down any balls that went astray.
Kate applauds Suki after a particularly strong hit. My guys are awesome at being supportive of each other.
