I'm sure you recognize "putting their shoes on" when you see it, right? There are so many other side activities that occupy their time during this task.
I don't think I've shown you the way Grace prefers to get out of the car -- she sits down in front of the passenger door every morning and then hops out when a teacher opens the door. She always tells them that she prefers to do it herself.
Suki climbed a ladder but was a little apprehensive about holding on all by herself -- she sure does love ringing the bell at the top, though.
I'm convinced that no one in the history of the world has loved swings as much as Kate loves swings. Here she's trying to hang them up.
Sitting pretty... until it was time for Suki's turn. Then the weeping and wailing began... she pounded on the door to the supply closet trying to get another swing, was thrilled when it was her turn again, then fell to the ground in tears when I took her out for good and the swings came down.
Suki and this boy loved building towers and knocking them down "together." Ahem. That was the idea, anyway.
These color stars just crack me up. I mean, yes, let's all celebrate the fact that Grace knows her colors but let's no one think that these stars commemorate the first spark of chromatic knowledge, right? Still, they are very sweet.
Kate's laughing so hard because Grace is reciting the alphabet with "cookie monster" tossed in every once in a while, a la Sesame Street.
