August 5, 2010

Playing before we left this morning.

These girls are always so busy in the car.

Ready to go!

Then Suki, Kate and I made a quick trip to the grocery store. These girls are very safety conscious and insist on buckling up. Personally, I think they are wedged in there tight enough to ensure there will be no surprise catapultings, but they have their doubts about my steering in some of the aisles.

Back at home, it was time for more elephant crafts. Suki really has an elephant theme this week! We cut out these masks...

...and then painted them.

Suki's finished mask.

And Kate's.

Today included water play at camp, so the kids all camped out on the front lawn waiting for their pick ups.

Grace always brings me something from the playground -- today it was this wheaty weed, yesterday it was a clover, the day before a dandelion. It's so sweet.

Showing off some of her rainforest handiwork.

Pointing out the path Gorilla will need to take to reach his bananas.
