Grace's preschool hosts a series of camps throughout the summer. We chose the Rainforest Camp for all the obvious reasons but also because we thought it made sense as the start of the school year approaches to get Grace reacquainted to teachers, classrooms and a five day school week. Today felt like a wee trip back through time as we all rose a little early to pile out the door.
I just love the expressions on Grace and Suki's faces as Kate approached with a stick.
We all had to head in to make the final arrangement and I wasn't sure how long Suki and Kate would hold together their good behavior in order for Grace to have a good time. For that matter, I wasn't really sure how Grace would react to being back at her old preschool building but with a different structure to her morning. It all went so well, though.

And when we got to the room, it was so much cooler than we'd even hoped. Fantastic toys, decorations and activities all around a rainforest theme, monkeys and sloths everywhere, these three flipped. They even have rainforest snacks and songs, they are very dedicated to the theme.
We left Grace as she prepared to make a rain shaker. Also, can I tell you how happy Grace is that Gorilla is welcome as a member of Rainforest Camp? She knew she'd have to ask if it was okay to have him there and she was only allowed to do so after she convinced me that she had a plan in place in case the answer was no.
