As a parent one learns to become alert to certain phrases -- one from this morning was "Come here, Kate, I'm going to give you a makeover. False eyelashes?"
Fortunately, they stuck to eye shadow and lipstick.

A speedy trip to the dentist for a check on Grace's shark teeth -- they're coming right along, hopefully the front teeth will fall out sometime in the next couple of months. Lordy but they are taking a long time.
Grace was so patient and calm in the chair.
She did give her animals a little squeeze for encouragement, though.
