Racing to feed our friends' cats, their much loved responsibility.
Moving down the street toward the parade route.
Waiting for the neighborhood fourth of July parade.
Sitting with our friends Will, Shannon, PJ and Scout in sweet anticipation.
A little grasshopper on Suki's hat.
Scout examines it more closely.
Kate was so delighted to see the parade she did a little dance on the corner.
Grace made a last minute decision to march, so she and David came around the corner shortly.
Demonstrating a wave.
You can imagine it didn't take long for Suki and Kate to want to join the parade too.
Collecting candy on the way back.
Kate and Suki wanted a wagon ride after naps.
Grace feigned being sick for a little while.
It didn't take long for Grace to join the group, though.
Then it was time to join our neighbors for a little cookout.
Erin and Allison were great at helping keep all three girls wrangled and happy.
A little cupcake while waiting for fireworks.
We get such a perfect view right from our driveway -- all three girls headed in the house this time, though. They gave it a try but they were too freaked out to stay outdoors. All in all, a very happy fourth though!
