Our neighbors had a few trees taken down and a woodchipper was positioned in their driveway with a crew of landscapers hauling branches from the back and loading them into the (loud) woodchipper. Grace is voicing her disapproval at the entire raucous affair, Suki's looking with apprehension and Kate was dying to get over there in the middle of the whole thing.
Suki showed her a new way to play, with the coin return rather than the drawer deposit and they were both thrilled.
Kate wanted me to show her the numbers and count with her over and over.
For a girl who doesn't talk, she's not half bad at counting. We've been working at recognizing patterns in shapes and numbers, I think that last bit is her trying to make a pattern out of the numbers.

Can't you see the signs of getting in the car to go get Grace? Clearly they are on the verge of hopping into their seats.
Grace was so happy to hear this song on the radio and I got a chance to catch her singing along (during the time we were stopped at the light, anyway).
