Today was similar to yesterday in that we were largely housebound (this time with all three girls sick, though!) and tried to relax for most of the day in our low key way.
It was different in that instead of a pizza party with friends David and I wound up in the ER after I mistakenly gave him some aspirin in a cold remedy (in my defense, he'd taken a very similar remedy made by the same company and neither of us thought to check this box). He's very allergic and so we left the napping girls in the care of some very good friends and went to the hospital. Thank goodness our children know and adore these friends and so they didn't freak out when we were gone after nap time, they just played happily until we got home. And David's fine after an intensive round of steroids and antihistamines, thank goodness.
