When the snow sticks around, it often feels too chilly to take all three girls out to play in it for long. Today temperatures felt like it was 5 degrees here, even colder if you consider how wet things were likely to get. So I brought some snow indoors.
The girls loved sampling, stirring, making snowballs and snowmen.
Kate's not crying here, though it looks like it. She'd take a tiny bite of snow and then make this awful face, then take another bite and repeat the face, etc.
You might notice Suki's tiny forehead bruise here. On Monday she bumped her lip as she was standing up in her crib. When she received each injury, she shouted her favorite epithet of late: McCain! She says it like a curse, as if she imagines he is the source of all her woes.
So proud of her snowman!
