December 16, 2010

After speech therapy this morning for Kate, Suki had her friend Gracyn (and her little brothers Aedyn and Owen) over to play. We had so much fun.

Gracyn and Suki really wanted to decorate this little table in the kitchen for their tea party. They spent a considerable amount of time doing so.

There was even a dance session at the tea party -- these four really got along so well.

Then, after kindergarten pickup, we got to enjoy Grace's friend Paige's company for a few hours. She is such a sweet, quiet girl and we were able to split these big kids off from the little guys for some of their play time, which made for a really great play date.

We had some snacks and then a choice of hot chocolate or princess potion. Whipped cream and sprinkles is fun for everyone.

Even I had some princess potion -- so delicious!

I only popped in on these two games of Candy Land, but was very happy to hear that Paige won one game and Grace won the other. It's so nice when things work out like this.

Then it was time for a painting party. These girls are so creative and so interested in how colors mix, how they work on the paper, what kind of brushstrokes they can create, etc.

One of Grace's creations. So sweet, down to the heart and the drawing of Paige (and the addition of the I to Paige's name as an afterthought).

Two painting hooligans.
