Incredibly, we were the first in Grace's class to arrive in the school yard this morning. She was handed the class sign by one of the big kids and she maintained her post at the head of the line as her classmates found their place behind her. Then she led the whole group into the school with her teacher -- I'm so glad she got to do this at least once!
As usual, we headed over to the playground after drop off.
After our time at the playground, Kate had a 2 1/2 hour evaluation to establish services for speech and feeding therapy here. As usual, it is such a hoot to see her go through the little tests -- and like before, she qualified under self care and not a speech delay, but they'll be able to provide services for both.
After pick up, we enjoyed some snacks our friends brought and played on the playground again.
I really enjoy seeing Grace join in these groups. She -loves- the other kids in her class.
