June 12, 2008

You can see that everyone was excited for our brief (4 items!) foray to the grocery store. Suki's actually screaming with delight, not rage, despite appearances to the contrary.

Three girls with different sleep needs, mobility, and personalities make these trips a strategic challenge.

Today went very well, though, and the girls worked hard to show good behavior.

Even still, I do not see how I would ever do a grocery shop with these three in tow.

A nap interrupted, possibly by Suki thumping the car seat a bit.

Such sweet sisters.

A tumble of girls.

Grace was cracking me up this evening.

David took Kate in to see the pediatrician today and discovered she's in the 90th percentile for height and weight, 97th for head circumference. In 79 days, Kate has gained 48 ounces, which averages .6 ounces a day. From her lowest weight of 9 lbs 5 oz, she's gained 62 ounces, averaging .8 ounces a day. Apparently I'm feeling very math-y today.
