October 27, 2010

Heading out on a blustery day.

I asked Suki to stay still -- this is how she looks frozen.

After we dropped Grace at school, Kate wanted to hold the umbrella. She and Suki had lots of fun with it.

A sheltered hug.

Looking out at the firefighters meddling with the hydrant across the street.

We were not particularly stealthy in our observations, and the firefighters waved at us! We waved back. Later in the day, after we dropped Suki at preschool, a city bus driver waved at Kate. I love living in such a sweet, friendly town.

We spent some time at the bookstore while we waited to pick up Suki.

Suki shows off the E tree she made, with a little book stapled to the trunk of the tree full of E words. She loves preschool so much.

I was called upstairs to witness this scene, the girls having emptied out the toy trunk to use it for a car. Also for a boat.

Pointing out the alligator nearby!

Sweet pea at the computer.
