October 26, 2010

Peeking out the window, looking for some birds.

Heading toward school!

A little smooch...

...and a sort of leaning hug.

The king, the princess and the fairy go into the castle. They're the wee rectangle pieces, if you couldn't spot them right off.

Car races!

The doctor is in!

You'll have to decide for yourself if this is a good thing or not, especially when you see that fiendish gleam in her eye as she wields her hammer.

My sweet Suki takes such good care of me.

Fastening the sphygmometer.

These two had so much fun with these starch pellets from this carton.

They pretended it was snow falling down -- and they stomped in it, threw it in the air, and they were able to do this over and over because they were so great about picking up the pieces and putting them back in the box again and again.

Suki and Kate stayed home with David napping while I went to get Grace. She had a lot of fun on this swing with Julian, Nora and her younger brother Charlie.

Making a wish and blowing on a dandelion.

Boston in the background on our foliage hunt.

Enjoying a little break.

I think every town has a house like this, right? One that goes completely wild for Halloween? Every day we go by this spot because all three girls love it so much but because today I had just Grace we were able to stop and get out of the car. Grace wanted to get a closer look at these bones rising from the ground and she promised not to touch anything, so I let her sit briefly among the skeletons. What cracks me up about Grace is that she will jump with a yelp if she hears a vacuum or a hair dryer but will curl right up with a zombie in front of the giant spider.

Grace's homework. She was so proud when she completed this one!
