They are ready to help open Mom's big birthday present.
They were thrilled to see it but were somehow convinced that the mixer may have started working in advance. We had to open it up to show them that there were no cookies or cakes inside.

After we dropped Grace at preschool, it was off to the pediatrician for Kate's one year well visit. While we waited, Suki watched some Cinderella.
Kate looked out at the rain.
On the table together. Suki was worried for her sister's fate at the doctor's hands and let us know it in no uncertain terms.
Back in the car! Grace had a great day.

A happy, healthy baby. The stats today: 31 inches; 30 lbs, 7 oz; 20 inches in head circumference. For those interested, there is now a 9 inch, 8 pound difference between Grace and Kate.
