The more practical among you might argue that medical tubing is not a toy, but these girls would disagree.
Grace's first report card. (G=good, W=needs work)
David had to stay home with a sick Grace so I went to the parent-teacher conference alone. There were no surprises to be had -- Grace is very smart, sweet, and transitions well both from car to school and from class to class. She's also stubborn and doesn't always want to do what the teachers say on the first try. Personally, I am thrilled to have a child who knows her own mind and isn't shy about expressing herself but we'll continue encouraging her to listen to her teachers and to do what they say when necessary. Take this report card for what it's worth -- you'll notice they write that she does a good job at going to the bathroom by herself when she's actually never been. However, she can now use scissors and count to 113 unaided so I'll take what I can get.
