Kate checks out our route to South Carolina.

This was Kate's first big car trip and she held up so well.

This girl would only nap with my hand on her arm.

Baby's first milkshake! I'm just kidding. She loved chewing on the straw from my empty Diet Coke though.

A few from our stop at Chick-Fil-A.

The girls loved this place to play at the restaurant.

Even David loved it.

There was something so sweet and caring about the way David put their shoes back on.

Heading down the road again.

These DVD screens made all the difference on this trip -- we only stopped once on the six hour drive and the girls didn't have any of that distressed boredom that tends to creep in toward the end of a long drive.

Once in South Carolina, we headed out for dinner with some of David's family. Here they pose with Caroline.

Granny and PaPa say hello.

PaPa feeds Suki some of his treats from the salad bar.

Kate flips back to see Granny.

PaPa shows Kate the sights.

Kate just loves her Uncle Pete.

A quick pose with her beautiful cousin Chessie.

Sticking her tongue out at Aunt Lisa.

She cracked up with when Lisa stuck out her tongue back.

Uncle Mitchell gives Kate a kiss.

Mitchell has always had a soft spot for our girls (and I suspect baby girls in general).

I climbed onto Grace's bed where David was sitting and pushed some stuffed animals aside. I nearly pushed Kate! She was very well camouflaged among the animals, in my defense.

Cute as two buttons.

Fun with Tuck and Granny.

A happy little group.

Showing PaPa their animals.
