Today we went to a new library. This one had fun computer games for Grace to play -- she was immediately attracted to them, and even though all the chairs were full she stood near them and called out the animals and shapes she saw on the monitors while she waited. When it was her turn play, there was a host of people complimenting her on how well she did, it was so sweet.

I was making dinner tonight when I heard Grace call "need some help!" I went around the corner to discover what happens when 30 pounds of toddler tries to cram herself into a seat made for babies up to 22 pounds. She was stuck and could not extricate herself no matter what she tried! And the poor thing has a mother whose first instinct is to grab a camera rather than haul her out.
Tonight, for the first time...
