While we were there, Grace learned how to use a straw!
This is a huge breakthrough and opens up a whole new world of beverage consumption when dining out.
She had so much fun walking around the restaurant.
She was so busy congratulating herself on her good walking that even other patrons started to comment -- it was so cute.-------------------------------

Grace walked around the library a -lot- and was so proud of herself. Every time she'd find anew landing point, she'd look back at me and say "good walking!"

Our one complaint today? A librarian who underestimated Grace, thinking she was too young for pop up books. They are such a highlight of the library trip for Grace that I ignored her discouraging words and Grace did her usual wonderful job of being very careful with them.
She had lots of compliments today about paying attention to books, sitting still, being careful, etc. It's always so much fun to take her to the library.
