Thursday is turning into Library Day around here, and this one was no exception even with all of the rain. Grace had fun looking in the book bins but then wanted to explore farther afield in the children's section.
Striking out on her own.
She wound up in the young adults biography section and immediately pulled this book off the shelf. I looked down and said "oh, it's Julia Roberts!" She kept repeating "Julia Roberts" over and over as she flipped through the book and this caught the ear of some of the other moms and the librarian. When they commented on it, I said that she's a great mimic. Another mom looked at Grace and said "You are so pretty and so smart!" I prompted Grace to say thank you, and she looked the woman in the eye and said "Thank you. I welcome." and went right back to her reading. The girl cracks me up.
