David's plane was delayed so he could not join us for this event at the Museum of Science. We still attended and had fun, but we missed him.

The girls have had a very deep, sustained interest in Pompeii, so we bought tickets for the exhibit. They loved it, I was careful about ensuring their comfort level was high enough as we went through, though. Between videos depicting lava pouring through the streets and the casts of bodies found in the ashes, etc. there was plenty that might have rattled them, but they really liked learning about it so much. As usual, Kate showed her true colors by trying to climb on a bed excavated from the ruins, but other than that things were great.
This is Suki's absolute favorite thing at the museum.
