November 9, 2011, part 1

Grace gets xrays at the dentist office. Suki... ahem, declined xrays. Kate wept because she was not allowed to have xrays at her tender age. Dear lord, what was I thinking booking all three appointments in the same visit?

Kate was very enthusiastic about getting her exam and cleaning!

In the sibling room, two sisters get their cleaning by two hygienists at the same time.

Grace was deeply mistrustful of the whole cleaning, for whatever reason. She climbed right up into the chair without hesitation, but then clamped down once the actual work was about to begin.

Suki did not even make it that far. She fake slept her way to dental freedom.

Our awesome dentist examines Kate...

...and then Grace.

Suki was absolutely enraged that she missed her chance to get a sticker after not cooperating at any point in the visit. She demanded to go back in again for another chance, which led to a conversation about how some choices cannot be remade. Especially when you've been hustled out of the office by every available receptionist in the place after you've tried to smash a door, pulled coats down from hangers, and shrieked through the entire office, etc. It was insanity, with me booting Grace and Kate down the stairs in front of me and dragging Suki behind. Just chock full of dignity and decorum, as is our motto.

So we waited out Suki's rage on the front porch of the office and watched the crowds pass by on Mass Ave.

Then we went home for a cheaty picnic lunch. The weather was so beautiful today!
