This morning Grace was sick -- her temperature was elevated but not feverish at 99.7. She had her sick eyes, though, plus some congestion and I was worried she might have a UTI for a few other reasons. Her sickness got much worse over the next hour and so we got in to see the pediatrician. Her temperature had climbed two degrees in less than two hours and she was anxious about her exam. She came through it so well -- it turns out she has an ear infection (I had no idea her ear was bothering her!), a cold and perhaps some UTI but that can't be diagnosed definitively without a sample. She's on a broad spectrum antibiotic so that should help.
Kate was a champion, quietly delaying her nap so she could look around the office.
Suki played with our friends next door while we were out and had so much fun running errands and eating watermelon. Naturally, when she woke from her nap it seemed that she has caught her sister's cold.
