Grace reading to Suki, loosely speaking.

Suki has such a great time looking around at the library.

Checking out some new books.

We've been reading If You Give a Mouse a Cookie ever since. When I call it "If You Give an Elephant a Peanut," Grace cries out "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, don't be so silly!" Plus she calls a milk mustache a milkstache and calls scotch tape "scotch-a-tape," all rolled together like that. It's easy to keep reading it to her because she cracks me up with her contributions.

Guess who Grace found at the library? It's Dad!

He was studying there today -- we came and picked him up for some lunch.

Heading out to the car.

I had to run ahead all paparazza-like to get a shot of all three -- Grace was too hungry to pose!

I love the shy look on Grace's face as she eyes the waitress.

Suki slept a good deal of the time at the restaurant away.

At the waitress' suggestion, Grace decided to try chocolate milk for the first time. She looks a little skeptical at first...

Then she takes a taste. (Will she like it?)

Of course she likes it! This child lives for chocolate. I think she was surprised milk could taste this good.

Suki woke up but charmed everyone around her. We're so lucky to have girls who are so great in restaurants.

Waiting to get into the house for naptime.
