| We had a few moments where EVERYTHING went wrong. The horses we'd planned to ride went back to the corral unexpectedly, the much-anticipated bounce house was collapsing as we walked up, and then Kate skinned her knee. It was very difficult. So we sat at a table for a few minutes and talked about ways we could overcome disappointment and still have fun at the fair. So we had ice cream and then face painting and it was such a happy time in the end. |
