January 14, 2013

Suki had possibly the most fun lunch of her life.  She could hardly stop laughing long enough to eat.

Kate really started cracking up when David sent puffs of air through her wrapping paper tube.

Kate will not be deterred from her deep love of math -- she begs me to make math jelly fish for her when she runs out of them in her workbook. (To make a math jelly fish, you put a number at the center of a circle and surround it with smaller numbers, like spokes of a wheel.  Then Kate figures out the difference between the center number and each spoke number, and writes it in at the outmost part of each radial.  Tentacles are optional :) ).
Speaking of math, Grace was so pleased and proud of the work she's been doing in math lately that she had to show David when she returned home from school.

Completing her final part of David's gift.

The scientist in action.
