| Grace and I went to the movies for the first time today. She and I have been frustrated with each other too often lately and needed a way to get out of our rut. Today was the perfect way to do that. |

| Grace has been so excited since yesterday afternoon when I revealed our little plan. |

| We ordered our lunch and ate it while watching the Lorax. A couple of the previews were geared to a preteen less scaredypants audience, but the movie itself was -fantastic- for us. |

| They even gave Grace an ice cream sundae! |

| Just when it seemed this day could not get any better, we went out to the lobby and discovered an air hockey table. All three girls are excellent at the game on the iPad, but this was the first time any of them have played in real life. Grace beat me 4-3 at this table. |

| And then! Then Grace wanted to play this claw game. She knows that it is very rare to ever win anything at the claw game, but she managed the controller herself and on her second try won this red ball! |

| Truly, you cannot overestimate how ecstatic she was in this moment. It was -amazing- to see. |

| Suki and Kate had a great time home with David, too. |

| What a sweet day for all of us. |
