On the way to the car, Grace found this giant leaf.
She went on her first ever field trip, where there were other drivers/chaperones -- it wasn't easy for me to see how it would be okay but I didn't let on to Grace. Her class was off to see the Nutcracker!

And then we were off to the post office -- it was not a terribly interesting trip except for the fact that the post office website is full of lies and stamp release schedules are apparently not always what they seem. Ahem.
