Tonight we went to the hospital where Kate will be born. We'd arranged for a tour of our own because children aren't allowed on the group tours. We visited the areas relevant to us and got the girls acquainted with where Mom will be staying in a few weeks. They were so entertaining and sweet -- as you can see from this picture, Suki was interested in everyone and everything around her and Grace was mesmerized by the bears and coloring books that the hospital workers gave the girls.
After the tour we went to a nearby Cheesecake Factory. Dad entertained an occasionally impatient Suki with photos on the cell phone. Even though we had a late dinner, we were happy to hear how well behaved people thought they were.
Our dear friend Jeff gave Grace a gift certificate to the restaurant for her birthday -- he knows how crazy she is about the chocolate cheesecake there. She loved every bite!
