Today was the day of the neighborhood Easter egg hunt! However, we woke up to temperatures even lower than upstate NY today and there was snow on the ground and flurries still coming down. We had to bundle up!
By the time we got to the site of the hunt, the wind had died down a bit and the snow had pretty much melted away. This was meant to be a family portrait but Suki was so bundled up you can't really see her!
Grace waves to the Easter Bunny and he waves back!
She got a little treat from the bunny.
Looking to see just what that treat could be...
Then it was off to the egg hunt! Grace was so excited!
She understood the concept pretty quickly and loved putting the eggs in the basket.
There were so many eggs!
Showing Dad an egg.
She was so cute getting these eggs off the ground.
That basket got pretty full!
Only a few left...
Looking to see just what was inside those eggs -- these yummy treats included Froot Loops and goldfish (they had sections broken out by age, Grace was in the 0-2 group and I was so glad they had different treats there!).
A sleepy Suki back at home.
Fun little girl.
A little close up.
