Thanks to Grace, this was my first thought on turning the corner to her room today and seeing her standing in her crib for the first time. My second thought was to grab the camera, of course.
Yes, she is cute and all, and she has been getting better at pulling to stand every day. This was still such a shock.
Here you will see how she helpfully points out the bunny she has hurled to the ground. I actually encouraged it to see how far she could lean over the edge. After consulting with an expert today, I am confident that the crib remains safe for now. Or, as my expert says, until she starts trying to climb out.
