| Today was the day of the science fair! Everyone was so excited. |

| Grace's project explored pixelation and how it affected image quality. Suki discovered capillary action and used it to try to color carnations. |

| Later I took Suki in for her individual meeting with the judges -- she had two rounds, I remained outside the auditorium during that time and their conversation remains a mystery to me still. She was happy with it, though. Grace met with judges during her school day and attracted quite a crowd with her display. So proud of these girls. |

| Today I ate some of the snow Kate offered me -- it's been years since I've eaten some! |
