At the pediatrician's office this morning:
Diagnosis: terrible sinus infections.The bacteria in their systems elevated their temperatures, the mucus running down their throats caused the coughing and vomiting. The girls are contagious until their noses stop running all over the place, probably Monday, so we'll be staying indoors this weekend. Because the infections are so bad they had injections of Rocephin at the doctor's office (they had to be held down on the table and two nurses got a shot in both thighs for both girls, so four shots altogether, imagine the fun for poor mom). Their course of Omnicef starts tomorrow, keep your fingers crossed that these antibiotics take care of the infection.
