Taking off in their rocket ship!

Grace "fashioned" this paper "crown" but needed me to tie it on her head to keep it in place.

All of a sudden, these girls -love- Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. We hardly know what to make of it.

Doing the "Hot Dog!" dance.

Playing with their pal Brady.

Emma joins the group after her nap. It was so much fun seeing this third generation of friends playing all together for the first time.

We put on Sesame Street while the adults ate dinner and were so charmed at the nonstop laughter coming from the living room.

Grace the gorilla spins her sisters.

I left today to celebrate a dear friend's birthday across state, and the girls had such a fun time at home with David.

Suki coloring one of the crafts that the girls made for me while I was away.

Crafting after school.

Their thankful trees. It can be hard on Thanksgiving for these girls to call to mind the things for which they're most thankful, now we can remind them for our thanks-around-the-table in a few weeks.

Running in the rain on the way to school.

Suki dances around the baby's she's just gotten to sleep.

I had a great time volunteering in Grace's classroom today -- our friends Marina and Nico came over to play with Suki and Kate while I was away. When we went back to pick up Grace after a quick nap, the weather was terrible. So rainy, so cold, so windy -- we were all drenched and shivering when we got back to the car even with multiple umbrellas and raincoats employed. We decided to have a cozy party -- cozy pajamas, cozy blankets and pillows, the best stuffed animals and cozy foods and movies just to snap out of that unpleasant damp.

Looking out at the rain.

So cozy!
